Easy to install, instructions could be better, and the left tail light is not working properly will be exchaning for a new one.

Installation was quick and simple for me since I have done this before and had to do splicing of existing wires with other kits. This kit snaps into existing light sockets on wire harness. Visibility of LED brake and turn signals is much better than regular bulbs with this setup. This kit matches closer to OEM style tailights and 3rd brake light than other LED kits in the aftermarket parts market.

Installing the lights was an ok experience but you have to go to the website of Hella and download the instructions so you know where to clip the heat sink for each rear tail-light, the lights come with no instructions but are just like the factory lenses only difference is the wires for the LED's plug into the same plug as the factory light bulbs do. The clip for the heat sink clips to the body of the truck where the reverse light plug inserts into the body of the truck and the clip is what you see as the heat sink itself is inside the housing. These are awesome and the best thing I have ever done to my ride. I hope you can enjoy them as well cause they are wel worth the money spent.

I bought these llights for my 2007 Dodge Ram. Installation was straightforward, true bolt-on. My first impression was I was surprised how much bigger the lenses are than stock, they stick out about 3/4" further. I don't know if this is model specific. They don't look horrible but IMHO they took some getting used to. That being said, these lights are BRIGHT!!!! and the LEDs look awesome and quality is typical Hella - excellent. I would absolutly purchase them again

I just put these lights on my 2004 F150 and they look spectacular. They are brighter than stock, but still look stock when not lit. Great product, but it would have been nice to have instructions.

I hoped for a well thought out design from Hella, but there's no signal illumination to the side of the fixture like the factory lights; this also means that there's an extra wire and bulb left unused from the factory wiring. I wish they'd make the product to meet OR EXCEED what the OEM provides, the loss of the signal to the side of the truck just reduces the effectiveness.... Isn't that why I bought LED lights, to improve effectiveness?
