I am VERY Handy and mecanicly inclined but if you can not fabracate then you will have issues. I had to cut the sheild to have the sensor wire be long enough to plug in even with the two mounting holes to chose from. I was not very happy with the time it takes to install 3 hours with fabracating. the instructions lack the info you need to install the unit. I like the way it looks. I hope that the time ans work i put into getting it to fit is worth it.
