I agree with s10man01

I agree strongly with s10man01. Flowmaster definately gives a distinct muscle-car era sound that cannot be beat! If you put the pedal to the metal, it roars as you accelerate. I've had compliments at truck shows coming in like "oh that exhaust sounds so good", but no one has called it sexy... maybe I'm not as good looking as s10man01!

Great Sound In and Out
|
Posted 7/12/2007 by BurbMan
The American Thunder system sounds great on my 2005 Suburban. I also installed a K&N intake soon after doing the exhaust. Great combination! I have really noticed a boost in performance. I will never get tired of the sound when I first start the engine. We use the Suburban for long family trips and I am very please with the light interior noise. I grew up with glass pack mufflers that used to rattle the inside of the cab. I liked the glass packs but I don't think my wife and kids would enjoy them as much as me! Highly recommend this system.

Just OK

Just OK, No gas milage change to be seen. When I bought this product for my dodge P/U I had high hopes for mpg and hourse power. If I had to do it over again I would not do cat back exhaust, do it all or nothing. Sounds good though. I had to dump it because the tips are ugly.

sounds NICE
|

well I'm a 17 year old kid and I drive a 2001 chevy s10 5 speed and it has dual tip flowmasters on it and it sounds NICE! I didn't have them put on it, the boy who I bought the truck from did, and so I don't know how easy it is to install, but however I can tell an increase in horsepower. They greatly reduce backforce and increase your horsepower while doing so. My dad also drives a s10, it's a 2002, but I have noticed the difference in power. I strongl;y suggest to buy these exhaust systems, they will not disappoint you! Whenever I drive my truck I notice that every girl I pass has to stop and stare in my general direction as if in wonder: "Where is that sexy sound coming from?" ha! I love the exhaust. It has looks, qaulity, power increase, and a badass attitude.
