Description:
Do It Yourself And Save $$! Why spend $400 - $600 or more for a spray-on bed liner when you can do it yourself. Herculiner truck bed coating protects your truck bed's finish from tools, equipment, rust, and moisture. Plus you get a great-looking protective layer that deadens sounds.
See Stylin' Joe Wagner talking about his Herculiner:
HERCULINER is the only polyurethane and rubber granule coating that is applied to the bed surface using the rollers and brush included with the kit. When cured, HERCULINER provides a durable skid-resistant protective coating. Because it can bond to virtually any surface or material, HERCULINER can be applied to wood, metal, concrete, aluminum, asphalt, rubber, fiberglass, and most plastics, including PVC.
In addition to being used for a truck bed liner, our customers have found alternative uses for Herculiner around the home and garage: 4x4 tubs, undercoating, concrete steps, and trailers to name a few, have all been treated with Herculiner to make a durable skid-resistant surface.
Kit includes scuff pad, roller, brush, material to coat your size bed. (Preparation requires surface cleaner.)
See the Herculiner F.A.Q. to answer all of your questions.
For Long Bed Trucks, order a Herculiner Kit, plus an extra quart.

| That's me in the video, and I still must say I love Herculiner, plus have alot of friends and people throughout the Ohio truck scene adding Herculiner to their list of modifications! For those who have the look fading, use something like Back to Black, or a wheel cleaner, and it will give it shine. |

| "Not That Great" |
|
| Posted 8/2/2007 by Red4x4Dakota |
| Do it yourself... in about 4-6 hours. To do this right will take at least 5 hours of back bending work. Within a week of installation, it peeled up after a piece of 2x2 steel pipe scratched it. It holds up well for the price, but the next truck I get I will get a spray-in Rhino Liner. |

| JUST PUT ON |

| WELL FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. LOOKS GREAT AND WAS REALLY EASY TO DO. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU WEAR LATEX GLOVES, THIS STUFF IS TOUGH, GASOLINE HAS A HARD TIME REMOVING IT. I INSTALLED IT IN A 6 FOOT BED, AND WITH A GALLON CAN I HAD ENOUGH TO GET 3 COATS,AND SOME LEFT OVER. IT TOOK SOME TIME BUT DRYING TIME BETWEEN THE COATS WAS THE REASON. AS FAR AS THE DURABILTY, I'LL FIND OUT SOON, TRUCK GOES BACK TO WORK TOMMORROW |

| Excellent Do-It-Yourself Project |
|

The prep work, which is light scuffing with an abrasive pad is the hardest part; largely due to the fact that you want to put it on right now :)
It goes on nicely, but remember to stir it well before you use it, so that you get the most of the rubber granules on each application.
I don't think the problem of the product sticking onto parts where you don't want it is a problem. Just get the acetone and wipe it off; just be careful not to use aceton on your paint job.
It's a good idea to wax your truck before you apply Herculiner...as the wax makes it really easy to remove splatters :) When the Herculiner dries, just peel off the splatters on your paint job!
One gallon barely covers a 6 foot bed...it can be done, but there will be small voids all over, and you can see it if your truck bed is painted a light color. Two gallons (four coats of Herculiner) will yield a nice, thick "shell." I would still use a rubber bed mat as an additional piece of protection, but the sides won't need it. |

| Herculiner is the way to go |
|
| Posted 9/24/2007 by Rob S |
| This was one of the most gratifying do it yourself projects I have ever done on my truck. It took a little longer than the 4-5 hours. However, anything worth doing is worth doing well. I took my time preping the truck and it payed off BIG. I had a Rhino lining installer ask if I had it done by a Rhino dealer. I have an 8 foot bed and I got 2 gallons so I could do the wheel wells as well. The bed took 1 and a half gallons to come out the way I happy with it. Don't be a chicken and just do it. There's nothing to it. |

| Used at work |

I work at a dealership that us to do Herculiner, now the stuff that the kit gives is ok. But we used a spray gun this, was a hole 6 hour job still for me. Its some good stuff as long as you do it right the first time. it will never be as thick as the Line X liners or the Rhino but you can still scrape them if you throug stuff in them. Ive seen good thick ones look like crap because of pore prep work the product is good just takes a long time to get the right thickness you want but do it right the first time it takes to long to clean up another guys mess.. One more thing rememmber to where a mask and do it in a well ventalated area because this stuff will mess with you if you breath it

| I had it on my old S-10, it was a little thin, but I stood up to everything I threw at it, it'll go on my new truck. And to the guy who mentioned Rhino Liner they do a horrible job, its thick and thin in spots, and is overall not a good looking job. If you want it done professionally, and to look even and strong go with Line-X. All my boss' trucks have it, and its indestructable, and look immaculate. |

| GET A REAL SPRAY ON!! |
|
| Posted 6/25/2008 by colbydm31 |
Hello
i purchased this product and applied it to my truck bed and along the bottom of my pickup.I thought i was saving lots of money by using this product....WRONG. For the first month the glossy finish looks great, after the first months the finsh turns to a flat finish and the product starts to peel off easy and starts to rust. Not impressed with this product and would never use it again. Nor would i recommend it to anyone. If you actually use your truck bed like it should be used, spend the extra money and get a tough spray on bed liner!!!!!! |
| Stylin Trucks response posted on 6/26/2008 |
| We have seen this happen in the past. What we have found is that the surface preperation needs to be rust free and clean from any dirt. If the surface has any rust or dirt on it the Herculiner product will not adhere and will peel over time. |

| I used the scuff pad + sand paper 100+ grit. Not a bad product, I also have a bad back but all and all it wasn't to bad, and looks good. |
