I put the Chrome Hood Guard on my 08 Silverado and man does it look good. At first I was scared because I could not find a picture of an 08 Sivlerado with this hood guard installed on it and I did not want it to be too big or something, but it is very low profile, and looks awesome with all the other chrome on my truck from the grille and grille shell, emblems, bull bar and driving lights, handles and all that. The only thing I dont like about it is that where it meets the hood on the curve up part, there is no run off holes to as if water were to get down there, I will easily fix that and drill three holes in it so i feel better, you wont be able to tell so it doesnt matter!

I purchased and installed this on my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. I cannot believe how great this fit. Installation was a breeze. After unpacking 5 minutes later it was on. I could have swore after putting it on it came straight from GM. It looks great. A definite must buy if you are looking for a hood guard.

The plastic screw pieces that snap into the round holes in my hood were terrible.Could not start the screw without the plastic turning around so it would not let the screw tighten.I fimally used the washer with SELF THREAD STARTING SCREWS.WORKED FINE.THE HOOD GUARD IS BEAUTIFUL,BOB

Total pain the the arse to do yourself...wound up breaking a corner piece off of my '05 F150's grill on the inside getting it off. Then installation was a total pain...wound up scratching hood where the clamps go...had to adjust 4 times. Would get one end attached, then other end would fall off...wound up with gouges in the ends of the bug guard from it falling off, even scuffed my headlight from guard falling off and hitting the light. Had to put strips of black tape on the ends to cover the gouges in the bottom. Finally got it on...many flaws in the finish...waves/creases/little dots where chrome has a "pitted" look. Very disappointed...never again.

I'm VERY pleased with EGR-Hood Guard that I purchased for my '03 Silverado SS!!! At first I wanted to be cool without a guard but I got tired of cleaning the windshield EVERYTIME I went somewhere. I've noticed less and less bug splats as I did before without a guard. It's got a very sleek look to it, and blends in with the form of the hood. This should have been my very 1st purchase for my truck. It was abit pricy but not as much as the windshield repairmen,and I consider this as an investment that will reap the benefits over time.

This almost too simple. I became suspicious but when I went install this I realized it was just that simple. The only recommendation I have is to leave the deflector a little loose so you can center it, then tighten the screws. Perfect chrome job, I would reccommend this to anyone.
