This license plate retractor is basically a modified linear actuator setup that allows you to slide your license plate into view with the flick of a switch. The adjustable 9.5" stroke allows for easy use anywhere required.

Mount inside your tailgate and have the plate slide up out of it or mount in-between your cab and bed. You can mount it anywhere! (Tailgate mounting kit sold separately - includes flush-mounting cover plate to mold into the top of your bed and brackets.)

And though it is built to hold a license plate, we've had great results when mounting "hidden" TV monitors.
