Description:

For the Street Performance shocks, Belltech's engineers focused their attention on tuning the low speed compression characteristics of this shock absorber, which is responsible for controlling your trucks pitch and roll. The “Progressive” rebound tuning will complement large aftermarket wheels, keeping the ride smooth and firm.
  • The ultimate street performance solution
  • Vehicle specific applications.
  • Oversized Construction provides additional damping control
  • 15mm piston rod, 35 mm piston and a 55 mm shock body
  • Teflon coated bushings and piston seals avoid metal to metal contact, provides lowest possible friction
  • Increase in handling and performance at maximum comfort

Perfection
Posted 5/26/2008 by Silverado2002
Great shock, much better than the Belltech Nitro Drop 2 Shocks. They combine a nice tight ride with the stability to back it up. My truck no longer rolls over as much, or rocks when turning accross bumps. Ive used Afco shocks on my race cars and this shock is right with them in performance.

soft
Posted 8/4/2008 by javgon
used this shock on 08' CC silverado, 4-7 drop..nice looking and performing..real soft though..definatley need to trim them fenders cause of constant bumping, w/ 275/45r20 tires..

Stylin Trucks response posted on 8/5/2008
Fender rubbing should not be a problem depending on what rim offset and tire size you are running

I replaced my 18 month old toxic shocks on my '97 s-10 with these - it's like day and night! A lot less understeer around the corners and hardly any nose-dive under hard braking. mettalic silver paint looks nice. Only complaint: I had to remove the dust covers on the front shocks in order to fit them through the lower control arm. Thought these were vehicle specific. I guess belltech didn't get their measurments right.

best shocks i have ever had
Posted 10/3/2008 by hotskater
They look really cool on my truck. They outperform every shock i have ever used. This is a really good product. It only took an hour to install the front two. I will defiantly be buying from bell-tech again.

Rear Shocks
Posted 11/1/2008 by 2doorTahoe
Just installed these rear shocks on a '98 Tahoe 2-door RWD. Also dropped the front 2" with Belltech spindles and Belltech 2" Nitro Drop 2 Series shocks. The Tahoe has 85,500 miles and replacing the shocks and dropping the front makes it drive and ride like my new 2008 Silverado!

Put these shocks on my 2000 Silverado. Its lowered 2 inches in the front and 4 in the back. These make it ride like a dream and handle great. Awsome product. Will definitly be using these again.

Amazing!!! RIDE!
Posted 5/15/2009 by nickbaldwin86
My old shocks blew out a few 100 miles ago and I kept wanting/needing to get them replaced. Decided to do a 2/4 drop and went with these shocks. BEST thing I could have done for a smooth, soft ride. Worth every penny.

BellTech Spindle Drop Kit w/ Street Performance Shocks - 2005 Tahoe: 1" / 2" Front - 3" / 4" Rear
Posted 10/16/2009 by brianj
Spindles are a quality product. Spindle drop on my Tahoe was 1.75" from stock. After installing 3" - 4" BellTech rear springs with spacer (spacer decreases drop), the rear was lower than the front. Dropped front another 0.25" using stock torsion bar adjustment bolt and now the Tahoe sits just right with the slight rake that I was looking for. **Beware, I am currently using the stock 17" wheels. The lower ball joint must be reinstalled with kit included "skinny nut" and washer. Further, ball joint end must be cut over 0.5", (not just the tip as described in the not too useful instructions) in order for ball joint end to clear the inside of the wheel. Overall ride is very good, slightly firmer than stock while handling is much tighter with the Belltech Street Performance Shocks installed.
