better reception

I installed glass fenders on new F150 truck and lost a great deal of AM and FM radio reception even with stock antenna reinstalled. I took a chance and installed this "Hidden Antenna" under the dash near the base of the windshield. What a difference, I believe it gets better FM reception now than with the stock antenna on the original steel fenders. AM reception appears to be the same. Now it on sale for less than I paid. Very satisfied with product so far.

Hidden Failure

I installed this AutoLoc Hidden Antenna Kit in my Chevrolet Silverado LS 1999 Extended cab truck.
The antenna itself works very well, provided you can get it into a good position and still camouflage the wiring... There were absolutely no instructions and three different wires to mess with.
(One appeared to be a Ground connector, which I mounted to the frame, one for the connection to your radio system, and another tiny red one coming off of the radio connector.)
If you know what those are all for and how you are going to camo them and install them BEFORE HAND, then this is a fantastic product, otherwise, don't bother and get a nice looking external antenna |

Easy to use product, simple instructions right on the back of the package, three wires to hook up and performs very well. A good investment for my truck.
