If you buy a set of these you can count on the lights working for about 3 months. The bars apparently dont seal up and the plug on the back of the lights corrodes and then the lights dont work.

This can happen if the wire connections were not sealed properly. If the problem was with the bar itself, it is covered under the warranty.

Was not impressed with the wiring on these lighted steps. Just a simple hot and cold wire running out of front of each bar, you would think that for the price Bully would have heat shrunk some protective tubing around these wires since they are under the truck, but oh well. Other than that only other problem I had which was not Bully's or Stylin Trucks fault was that AFTER I installed these steps on my 08 Ram Quad Cab I took off the protective wrap around the stainless bars and found a dent in the drivers side bar. Thank you FED EX for your inconsiderate care in shipping (I have plenty of pictures of packaging upon arrival if anyone would like to see how FED EX ships products). But overall good product looks GREAT when lit up especially at night...but also highly visible day time and is a great compliment to any good looking truck. Total install time was approximately four hours.

L.E.D. Side Steps

When I went to install these bars on my 07' silverado I found that the support brackets had to be modified(shortened and bent to a new angle) in order to work. I then had to use heat shrink tubing and 1/4" flex tubing to protect the wires from damage. The lights look great and work nicely with the turn signals but I don't think I would have bought them if I had known how difficult the installation would have been. Not as simple a project as it should have been.

I love these stepbars. I bought them for my 03' Silverado and let me tell ya, it will turn heads. The quality of the wires weren't great and for installation, I recommed an extra hand. It took me about 2-1/2 hrs to install them with the help of my brother. Overall worth the struggle.

these nerf bars look great on my 08 ram.
total install time was about 4-5 hours. the only problem was the 2 smaller brackets wont line up the holes, but still sterdy with only the body mount brackets. running the wires was hardest part.

08 Ford F-150

Just got done installing these babies and they look AWESOME! I read up that they give out and that the wires are messed up so i did my best to try and keep them up and dry so hopefully they work. The one problem I had with the 08 Ford models was that the wires were set up in the back of the steps, not sure if everyone else had this problem but it was short to run to the headlights so i ran them to the tail lights instead and they still work except they don't blink when you use the turn signal but its still all good. I say installation time was about 2 hours by myself the longest part was the electrical due to having to wire it to the tail lights instead of the headlights (if Stylin Trucks reads this can you explain why the instructions said to wire it to the headlights but not enough wire so having to wire to the tail lights?) All in all very awesome and hope they last!
