Great Design Edit
Posted 7/16/2007 by da64d144-b7ff-49a5-8716-f0721d6c2c30
Belltech took their shocks to a new level by fusing the steel sleeve to the rubber bushing. I’ve been through 2 other sets of shocks that started rattling after the sleeve and bushing separated. I expect that these great riding shocks will last a long time.

softer than a baby's bottom
Posted 6/25/2007 by jmaj
After having driven on a set of the old Nitro-Drop series shocks from Belltech and moving into these, there is definately a ride quality difference between the two. The Nitro-Drop was a stiffer ride... I'd hit bumps in the road and the back end would just jerk. The Nitro-Drop 2 changes that... obviously, you still feel the bump in the road.. but it's a lot softer. Great product for a great price!

Great Ride
Posted 8/20/2008 by jj_santos83
I have an '01 Silverado with 22" rims and 305/40/R22 tires. Needless to say, that's a lot of unsprung weigh and I didn't expect a huge improvement. However, the ride is much more controlled and smooth, and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart on big bumps. I had Edelbrock shocks on the front, and while those rode okay, there was not a noticeable difference between those and the cheaper Belltech shocks. What a value!

I Like it
Posted 10/4/2007 by hrcslam
The ride seems to be a bit smoother compared to stock, but I still have some body roll. I think I need sway bars though. Great product for ride comfortin a lowered truck. Not as sporty as I expected though. Rides smooth though.

Does the job!
Posted 10/30/2007 by chevystar
I had a set of the original and these are way better. You can tell the difference right away. My truck is lowered 3" in the rear and I hardly ever "bottom out" on the bounce stops. My Avalanche is pretty heavy too. I would highly recommend these shocks.

Bad Ass Shocks
Posted 11/15/2007 by robles
These shocks made my truck ride smooth and I have a 4/6 drop on my ride and it is sitting on 22" wheels. They work better than the other brand i had so i will be buying another set for the rear.

great shocks
Posted 4/14/2008 by bigkidd83
Looks better with the metal dust boot and adds protection to the shaft as well. Offeres great handling and helps keep wheel in contact with pavement much better then the Nitro Active that they replaced. Highly recomended.

Worked great for my application
Posted 5/13/2009 by lowslow4x4
With the small drop I did at first. The shocks were fully extended sometimes on the road. But I'm sure once I get my torsion keys and do a 3/3 drop they'll be perfect. Went on pretty good, look great. This was my first venture into suspension and everyone recommended belltech and now I do too!

Great front and rear shocks for airride!
Posted 5/19/2009 by 96RamC
I installed a air ride supension on my truck, and these work great with it. So far the ride is a heck of a lot smoother than stock, and you can just barely feel the bumps now. I suggest these if you are installing on air ride

2003 Ford F-150 Ext Cab Triton V-8 application
Posted 4/22/2008 by bones9969
I had 3" belltech lowering springs in front, and 2" Shackles, 2" Hangers for the rear. I had to order a 1" belltech spacer in order for the front shocks to work at all. The rear work good. The front work better now but for the price I wasnt impressed. I would suggest ordering the belltech street performance shocks.

Installation of these is very easy compared to removing the OEM shocks in the rear. Work pretty good for the rear. I would still advise to spend a little more and get the Belltech street performance shocks.

Rear shocks
Posted 4/27/2007 by billcox
WoW I installed the Nitro Drop shocks on my lowered 95 Chevy pick up and it's like night and day. I can't beleive the ride performance. I'm anxious to get the drop 2's for the front.
