cheap plug

The plug that comes with the bar is cheap and I had to spread both (I bought two of them) of the plugs prongs out a bit so that they would make contact. I at first thought they were broken because one side was out but it was just loose. But now after 6 weeks of using one of the bars 4 lights went out. I bought the second bar for a replacement just in case one went out down the road.

Great kit

Went on fairly easy, just pull the bed off and take your time. I ran into a couple of problems that are not noted in the description or the instructions. The hard brake line and bracket that hold it steady must be relocated, I made a new line and remounted it to be sure I would not get any cracks in the line or have any problems with vibration damaging the line. The brake lines that run next to the axle near the flip kit will rub on one of the bolts and must be bent carefully out of the way. The thing that really made me mad was that after putting it all back together and putting the bed on, I realized that if you put weight in the bed one of the bottom bed rails hits the rear end and the t-fitting for the brake lines. So now I have to pull the bed off, cut out a notch off that rail then re-enforce it with some steel. It would have been nice to know this stuff before I started or before I put the bed back on.

Do not buy unless yours are damaged

There is no need to buy these unless your camber plates are damaged. These are exactly like the factory hardware and do not change a thing. Big waste of money.

Not only can these be a pain to install but they can't be reversed once done. You can't go lower or higher after these are installed. I have looked and looked (even the dealer - Chevrolet) and no one makes the factory shackles to replace these on my 1995 Chevy 1/2 ton. I was planing on getting the flip kit which I purchased as well and I can't use it now, I am stuck at this height. Stylin Trucks offered to refund for the items I have not installed but was aware from the get-go of my plans and what I was purchasing and never said it would not work together. These give a nice ride height but I was planning on going lower but now I can never change it. BTW the stock shackles were damaged during removal.

Put this on my 95 Chevy 1/2 ton 5.7 TBI and I love it. Way different throttle response, great sound and the performance seems noticeably better. Not installed on stock motor.

Nice springs and not too stiff or soft. Very pleased and installation wasn't too bad.

Great shocks

No problems, shocks are one of the easiest mods to do. With or without instructions. To be honest I don't remember if mine came with instructions, I never looked for them. 3 bolt on each one and your done.

This brake light looks sweet. Had to figure out the wiring though. When I first plugged it in it was all wrong. The brake light and the cargo light were reversed. I have a 95 chevy 1/2 ton for anyone else that runs into this problem. I had to cut the black wire then swap it with the white wire on the factory harness to work correctly. But that fixed it and it works fine.

Save your money

What a waste of money and time. The pads are very nice and have low dust. That's the only good thing. These rotors have poor molds and are not finished well (very rough around the edges), I even had to file down some areas. Also the coating that they claim is zinc is false. Mine look like they have been sitting in the ocean for about a year and I live in Arizona where rust is hardly seen. You would be better off saving for a higher end set or buying some at your local parts store for $30 or so.
