February Show Preview: Bring the Noize and the Brand New Rides

The snow and the cold are all around (most of) us, and it's never too soon to think about the upcoming season of truck and car shows. For us in Cleveland, it's the only prayer of sunshine we have! Two shows that come to mind are Bring The Noize in Phoenix, Ariz. and Cleveland Auto Show right near our headquarters in Independence, Ohio.

Kicking off this year's show season is Bring The Noize (February 20-21), from auto club The Art of Noize. They have been bringing it since 2001 and it has grown into one of the most anticipated truck events for this new year. This event gets truck and car fans together with categories that span from Wild 4-door Compact Car to Best Lowrider.Bring The Noize 2010

Before the two-day event gets going, a pre-show party will be held where there will be loads of entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and chances to win some cash prizes. Organizers are boosting about the “infamous” Best Usage of the “AON” logo contest, and promising that it will not disappoint.

There will be a $3.00 admission to the park for all people over 18 years old attending the festivities (car show participants get in free along with a passenger). Open Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Cleveland Auto Show (February 27 – March 7) plans to bring the stunning technological and design advances that we’ve been reading about to life in late February.

The big auto manufacturers will be out to promote their models that will feature crazy fuel economy efficiency while losing nothing in performance or luxury. Cleveland’s 2010 Auto Show promises to deliver another great year of the latest and greatest vehicles about to hit the showroom floors at area dealerships.

The lineup of vehicles scheduled for 2010 is impressive. The Show is open to the public February 27 – March 7. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for Senior and $10 for pre-teens. Children 6 and under are free. Parking is free. Hours of operation are Friday & Saturdays 11am to 11; Sundays 11:00am to 8:00pm and Monday through Thursday 12:00pm to 10pm.
